| description | This degree work consisted of recovering the technical functions of various elements of the didactic module of the brake system that existed in the UAN NEIVA automotive mechanics laboratory, identifying the damage of some equipment and expanding the possibilities of carrying out more activities within from the area of automobile mechanics and fluid mechanics, since the brake system includes equipment that works in these subjects. The module was in a NON-FUNCTIONAL condition since it lacked maintenance; in a first inspection its structure is corroded and with several missing parts; likewise it is found that the structure has spaces that are not yet usable; module security is precarious because there are mobile elements and there are no security guards that allow proper work. The recovery of this type of modules was necessary because as a fixed asset of the university it requires its constant manipulation so that its not only commercial but academic value is not depreciated. Currently the institution is in the process of institutional accreditation as well as in the renewal of its qualified registers such as that of Mechanical Engineering and Electromechanical Engineering. For this reason, this type of work is necessary as a recovery strategy for the laboratory equipment available to the University and as a strengthening of the program content (syllabus) of the Engineering programs. The first one under the first objective, based on Bloom's taxonomy Este trabajo de grado consistió en la recuperación de las funciones técnicas de varios elementos del módulo didáctico del sistema de frenos que existía en el laboratorio de mecánica automotriz de la UAN NEIVA, identificando los daños de algunos equipos y ampliando las posibilidades de realizar más actividades dentro del área de la mecánica del automóvil y la mecánica de fluidos, toda vez que el sistema de frenos comprende equipos que se trabajan en estas asignaturas. El módulo se encontraba en una condición NO FUNCIONAL ya que carecía de mantenimiento del mismo; en una primera inspección se encuentra su estructura corroída y con varios faltantes de piezas; así mismo se encuentra que la estructura tiene espacios que no aún aprovechables; la seguridad del módulo es precaria por cuanto existen elementos móviles y no hay resguardos de seguridad que permitieran un trabajo adecuado. Fue necesario la recuperación de este tipo de módulos por cuanto como activo fijo de la universidad requiere su constante manipulación para que no se deprecie su valor no solo comercial sino académico. Actualmente la institución viene en proceso de acreditación institucional así como en la renovación de sus registros calificados tales como el de Ingeniería Mecánica e Ingeniería Electromecánica. Por ello, este tipo de trabajos son necesarios como estrategia de recuperación de los equipos de laboratorio con los que cuenta la Universidad y como fortalecimiento de los contenidos programáticos (syllabus) de los programas de Ingeniería.
