The analysis allowed us to describe how the satisfaction of the needs of the subject suffered some mishaps due to adverse situations, and how migration mainly affects the satisfaction of the need for affection and a sense of belonging; and that in turn also influences others, such as the difficulty of acquiring growth characteristics, but despite this, the motivation of his family generates other links that allow them to acquire these characteristics. |

En esta investigación se llevó a cabo un estudio de caso acerca de cómo un migrante venezolano con dificultades económica por cuestiones laborales satisface las necesidades deficitarias y adquieren características de crecimiento, para ello se empleó una metodología cualitativa en la cual el referente teórico más claro es la teoría de la jerarquía de las necesidades adscrita a una base epistemológica de psicología humanista, la técnica utilizada para la recolección de la información fue una entrevista abierta. El análisis permitió describir como la satisfacción de las necesidades del sujeto sufrido algunos percances por las situaciones adversas, y como la migración afecta principalmente la satisfacción de la necesidad de afecto y sentido de pertenencia; y que a su vez también influye en otras, como la dificultad de adquirir características de crecimiento, pero que a pesar de esto, la motivación de su familia genera otros vínculos que permiten adquirir dichas características.
