First, the main focus on which this topic will be addressed is the property, plant and equipment especially the fixed assets (machinery) in some companies of the industrial sector, in which section 17 have been already applied and changes in measurements have been considered. Teniendo en cuenta que la sección 17 es uno de los principales rubros de este sector por su mayor participación dentro de la organización, se utiliza como referente para realizar un artículo reflexivo donde se encontrara información de trabajos presentados con respecto a ese mismo área y el impacto de la sección misma, por ello se tendrá en cuenta las novedades obtenidas a su última actualización, tanto de la normatividad como de la información suministrada por los documentos educativos, para así obtener una conclusión con respecto a su efecto tanto positivo o negativo en la información financiera.
