Issues of environmental impacts are addressed, and how pollution and effluents can contaminate a municipality or an entire department La investigación planteada a continuación aborda los temas sobre la piscicultura en el Huila y sus oportunidades de crecimiento, respecto a la economía, sus procesos, necesidades y oportunidades que este tema aporta al surgimiento de un departamento o un municipio, dando los puntos de vista argumentados, con sus conceptos teóricos, conceptos legales, conceptos ambientales y conceptos históricos sobre la temática. Todo esto, a partir de problemáticas y oportunidades identificadas en el Departamento frente a la escasez de infraestructuras e investigación y a la demanda piscícola que se está presentando en los últimos años en Colombia, posicionando al Huila como mayor productor, gracias a los embalses de Betania y del Quimbo, creados en el departamento. Se abordan temas de impactos ambientales y como la polución y los efluentes pueden contaminar un municipio o todo un departamento.
