| description | In twelve commune of the city of Ibagué, founded in the 50s (with 57 neighborhoods) currently and located to the south of the city, a diagnosis is made where the following problems were determined: poor planning on this part of the territory, invasion of informal housing on protective floors, the lack of sports facilities, contamination of the water rounds, social problems, mobility, and the lack of sports and cultural facilities.
An urban operation seeking is mainly proposed as a solution to the different problems; improve the invasion, and the scarcity of these areas, against environmental aspects; correct and / or repair, the spaces that are in moderately destroyed like buildings (houses and equipment) and road profiles.
Continuing in the mobility part of this area, along its main road (Armenian road) new intersections are proposed that allow better circulation of vehicles and giving spaces for people who move in foot mode such as pedestrian platforms, bridges and proposals of innovation (underground cable); and bicycle.
And finally, the problem of equipment shortages will be solved with the specific Architectural proposal of the SPORTS LEARNING AND RECREATION CENTER - MARACANÁ project. |

En la comuna doce de la ciudad de Ibagué, fundada en los años 50 (con 57 barrios) actualmente y ubicada al sur de la ciudad, se realiza Un diagnóstico donde se determinaron las siguientes problemáticas: la mala planificación sobre esta parte del territorio, invasión de viviendas informales sobre suelos de protección, la falta de equipamientos deportivos, contaminación de las rondas hídricas, problemáticas de carácter social, movilidad, y la falta de equipamientos deportivos y culturales. Se plantea principalmente como solución a las diferentes problemáticas una operación urbana buscando; mejorar, frente a los aspectos ambientales la invasión, y la escasez de estas zonas; corregir y/o reparar, los espacios que se en encuentran medianamente destruidos como edificaciones (viviendas y equipamientos) y perfiles viales. Siguiendo en la parte de movilidad de esta zona, por su vía principal (vía armenia) se proponen nuevas intersecciones que permitan una mejor circulación de los vehículos y dando espacios para las personas que se movilizan en modo a pie como andenes peatonales, puentes y propuesta de innovación (metro cable); y bicicleta.
