| Summary: | Colombia is susceptible to climate change due to aspects such as deforestation and due to the high concentration of foreign plant species that destroy those that inhabit the area, especially in some of the mountainous regions of the Cundiboyacense Altiplano. Some of these species are potentially combustible and difficult to eradicate. Not only this, the work that action agents (firefighters) do in trying to extinguish these plants when trying to mitigate a forest fire is extremely complex. It is stated that the use of tools for manual eradication is not effective enough to combat in these places, since the tools are difficult to transport to the risk area and the physical effort using them increases future injuries. |
