El presente documento aborda el interés por conocer el significado de lo que es una ecoaldea y cómo funciona correctamente, conocer sus objetivos generales y las experiencias de vida en comunidad, el concepto de ecoaldea como alternativa ante la desigualdad y la problemática que atraviesa nuestro planeta con su enfoque en ser un modelo social replicable, donde se rescatan ideas primitivas para la producción de un estilo de vida alterno, se busca como objetivo poder resaltar los aspectos fundamentales e importantes de estas comunidades ya que poseen un gran compromiso con el entorno natural, basadas en el apoyo, la solidaridad, la colaboración y la auto suficiencia priorizando sus prácticas sociales y económicas basadas en la agricultura, la permacultura, el intercambio y la construcción con materiales naturales.
