Summary:	Higher education is important in the development of young Colombians, but access to study remains a challenge for many, especially in rural areas such as Dinamarca-Acacias-Meta. In Colombia, higher education is a fundamental right, but the lack of information, economic resources and institutional support limit access to higher education for young people in the town of Dinamarca. Higher education must be guaranteed for all young Colombians, regardless of their social origin or geographic location.
