Taking into account the considerable improvements that can be achieved with the use of virtual technologies such as Construction Information Modeling (BIM), the aim is to demonstrate how this methodology is the best option for the company Ivory Construcciones SAS. For this reason, modeling of the specific structure of the tower is carried out, with the aim of comparing the results between the initial budget, what was actually executed and the calculations obtained by the BIM software, and to demonstrate how this methodology is much more precise. . to the traditional one.

Resumen: El presente trabajo está enfocado en plantear una planeación de costos diferente a la tradicional, propuesta en ambientes virtuales que se ajuste a los requerimientos de la empresa Ivory Construcciones SAS. Para su desarrollo, se identificaron las necesidades actuales de la compañía y se investigan diferentes antecedentes y marcos teóricos de implementación de metodologías en planeación de costos. Teniendo en cuenta las mejoras considerables que se pueden lograr con el uso de tecnologías virtuales como lo es el Modelado de Información de la Construcción (BIM), se busca realizar la demostración de cómo esta metodología es la mejor opción para la empresa Ivory Construcciones SAS. Por este motivo, se realiza modelación de la estructura en concreto de la torre, con el objetivo de realizar comparación de resultados entre el presupuesto inicial, lo realmente ejecutado y los cálculos obtenidos por el software BIM, y demostrar como esta metodología es mucho más precisa a la tradicional.
