Sumario:Abstract: This document notes the objective of the Safety Plan for the municipality of Balboa, which was to comprehensively address the problems of road and public safety. This process began with a complete diagnosis, which included the collection of data on road accidents, the evaluation of the existing infrastructure and the analysis of the community's perceptions on road safety. To identify the population's main concerns and needs, surveys and citizen participation workshops were conducted to gather opinions and suggestions from residents. Decisions were made based on this information to improve road infrastructure, raise awareness, and promote road safety education. To ensure a coordinated response to emergency situations, the plan also provides for interinstitutional collaboration, involving the police, firefighters and other relevant actors. Finally, monitoring and evaluation systems were established to ensure that the actions taken are effective and continuously adjusted to the needs of the municipality.
