La importancia de la cultura llanera solo se entenderá a través de la historia, es por esto que, dentro del proceso de recolección de información se dan a conocer diferentes aspectos teóricos que aportan al desarrollo de este trabajo, se obtiene información de diferentes fuentes teóricas como Casadiegos y Abadia, quienes con sus aportes hacen que la historia del joropo y tradición llanera se entienda con más facilidad.
