Esta investigación presenta la revisión teórico-documental, basada en el método y conceptos psicoanalíticos, de los elementos del inconsciente que influyen en el sujeto tatuado, interrogando el significado del auge del fenómeno, con el fin de esclarecer, al mismo tiempo, el estatuto del cuerpo en la contemporaneidad y de los elementos que permiten que el sujeto de manera inconsciente realice escrituras indisolubles en su cuerpo.
