Summary:	Old age is considered under a negative perspective within society in comparison with previous stages, to be determined as a person who can not be useful due to their cognitive and physical deterioration, corresponding to the changes that happen as something natural of the human being according to his age; however, this research aims to analyze the different psychosocial factors that affect the quality of life of the elderly person and transform the perspective that one has of this population with the collaboration of six women who are active in a group of self-management called Golden Age.
