The project began with an exhaustive analysis of the company's current practices regarding
inventory management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to optimize
processes.This solution, called "OWS (Operation Web Services), was developed by the company
AUTIN OWS, a leader in technological solutions for inventory control. A key aspect of the
project was the adoption of the inventory control system known as "kardex", which allows
keeping a detailed and updated record of the input and output movements of materials, as well as
stock balances. To evaluate the performance of the new system, key performance indicators
(KPIs) were established focused on management efficiency. of orders, the value of available
inventory, and product availability and coverage. |

FSCR INGENIERÍA S.A.S., una empresa líder en el sector de las telecomunicaciones, identificó la necesidad de optimizar sus procesos de gestión y control de inventarios para mejorar la eficiencia operativa y mantener un alto nivel de servicio a sus clientes. En respuesta a esta necesidad, la empresa decidió emprender un proyecto para implementar un sistema integral de gestión y control de inventarios. El proyecto inició con un análisis exhaustivo de las prácticas actuales de la empresa en cuanto al manejo de inventarios, identificando áreas de mejora y oportunidades para optimizar los procesos. Esta solución, denominada "OWS (Operation Web Services", fue desarrollada por la empresa AUTIN OWS, líder en soluciones tecnológicas para el control de inventarios. Un aspecto clave del proyecto fue la adopción del sistema de control de inventarios conocido como "Kardex", que permite llevar un registro detallado y actualizado de los movimientos de entrada y salida de materiales, así como de los saldos de existencias. Para evaluar el desempeño del nuevo sistema, se establecieron indicadores clave de desempeño (KPIs) enfocados en la eficiencia en la gestión de pedidos, el valor del inventario disponible y la disponibilidad y cobertura de productos.
