As a first finding, we found that the contents should be adapted to the student's context, then the articles were classified into three categories: TIC’s, realistic mathematics education and gamification. It is worth noting that each category has a totally different didactic approach and allows for innovation in teaching practices. We conclude that there are different techniques that allow the development of mathematical skills in the student, complementing traditional methods, establishing links between the theoretical and the student's daily life. |

Los resultados de las pruebas icfes resaltan que las escuelas rurales están por debajo de la media nacional de los resultados en el componente de matemáticas, esto nos lleva a cuestionarnos sobre las técnicas de enseñanza que se emplean dentro del aula de clase. Se realizó una compilación de 12 artículos que describen diferentes técnicas de enseñanza aplicadas en distintas zonas rurales de Colombia. Como primer hallazgo encontramos que los contenidos deben adaptarse al contexto del estudiante, posteriormente se clasificaron los artículos en tres categorías: TIC's, educación matemática realista y gamificación. Cabe resaltar que cada categoría tiene un enfoque didáctico totalmente diferente y así mismo permite innovar en las prácticas de enseñanza.
