En la sección de "Personajes UAN", se rinde homenaje a la destacada trayectoria académica de la Profesora María Elisa Forero Vivas, una orgullosa nativa de Bogotá con raíces cundiboyacenses. Desde una edad temprana, la profesora María Elisa mostró un profundo interés por las ciencias. Su fascinación por este campo se despertó durante sus estudios de primaria, cuando llevó a cabo un experimento sobre la germinación de semillas de frijol, haba y arveja. Quedó impresionada al presenciar el proceso de germinación y descubrir que dentro de cada grano había una planta en potencia.
