In Bogotá City there groups of people dedicated in this activity carries out in three major areas: North, Centre and South of the town, so that for this work was a follow-up among a groups of dog’s fighting in Kennedy locality.
First of all, the researched spoke with this community of fighting dogs in informal way, then she performed three semi-open interviews; finally it is important to clarify that the information presented in this article don’t reflects an acceptance of this activity by the author. It only constitutes an ethnographic approach to knowledge of “dog’s fighting” |

It only constitutes an ethnographic approach to knowledge of “dog’s fighting” “Estudio de las peleas de perros en Kennedy” es un texto de reflexión que muestra el resultado de tres meses de investigación sobre las peleas de perros en Bogotá, Colombia. Los objetivos del estudio fueron: 1. Describir al grupo de peleadores de perros como una comunidad de habla; 2. Conocer las características de una pelea de perros; y 3. Determinar la pelea de perros como un evento de habla. En Bogotá, el grupo de personas que se dedica a esta actividad está distribuido en tres grandes zonas: norte, centro y sur. Para este trabajo se realizó un seguimiento a un grupo de peleadores de perros ubicados en la localidad de Kennedy. La investigadora dialogó con dicha comunidad, primero de manera muy informal y luego les realizó tres entrevistas semiabiertas.
