Muchos estudios se han hecho sobre Simón Bolívar, el hombre, y sobre El Libertador, el héroe, pero poco se ha estudiado y comentado una de las facetas más prolíficas de su vida: su escritura. Entiéndase esta escritura no sólo como el producto de su acción libertadora, sino también como obra estética de carácter literario.
