El presente artículo ofrece una reflexión a propósito de la relación medios de comunicación y escuela. Además, presenta un panorama del uso mediático en las realidades educativas recientes, enfatizando en algunos aspectos relacionados con la televisión. El texto realiza una revisión conceptual a dos trayectorias problema que han abordado el tema: una mirada telefóbica y una mirada analítico-reflexiva.
