El desarrollo de la narrativa pasa por conceptos clave, componiendo un cuadro multifacético, basado en consultas de autores que se remiten a documentos internacionales, explorando diferentes enfoques relacionados con el tema que aquí se trata. El Plan de Recuperación del Centro Histórico de Bolonia (1971-1984) permite discutir sobre estas cuestiones presentes en la agenda contemporánea, ligadas a la preservación del patrimonio cultural y ambiental.
