El presente trabajo de investigación pretende determinar los efectos que pueden tener la ausencia del padre en la elección de una pareja en hijas de madres solteras, las cuales han sido abandonadas por su cónyuge. Se realiza un estudio de mujeres de tipo descriptivo puesto que se busca analizar la construcción del concepto de pareja teniendo en cuenta las características de las participantes las cuales residen en las ciudades de Bogotá y Medellín.
