However, it faces significant challenges for its effective inclusion in the educational field, such as the lack of adequate teacher training and the scarcity of appropriate resources and spaces. This work draws on previous studies that explore the impact of teaching and learning strategies in folk dance, the importance of arts education, the relationship between affective and cognitive development in children and youth, the use of theatrical and dance games to improve participants' social skills, and the systematization of pedagogical practice in education.

El presente proyecto se fundamenta en la premisa de que la danza, más allá de ser una expresión artística, es una herramienta poderosa para el desarrollo socioafectivo de los individuos, sin embargo, enfrenta desafíos significativos para su inclusión efectiva en el ámbito educativo, tales como la falta de instrucción adecuada del profesorado y la carencia de recursos y espacios apropiados.
