Qualitative research was implemented as the methodology since it collects the narratives, opinions and beliefs about the events of sexual violence against women who are found in contexts where alcohol is consumed. The information was obtained through the application of a semi-structured interview; the answers indicated that although violence should not be justified under any circumstances, there is usually criticism and even recrimination towards the victims of these events when, due to their clothing, proximity or alcohol consumption, they are responsible for promoting this type of abuse. |

La presente investigación se enmarca en el propósito de conocer la relación entre el consumo de alcohol y la percepción social que se tiene sobre la violencia sexual hacia las mujeres. Las posturas temáticas abordadas incluyen la violencia de género, violencia sexual, factores psicosociales y consumo de alcohol. La metodología implementada es de tipo cualitativo ya que recolecta la narración, opiniones y creencias acerca de los eventos de violencia sexual hacia las mujeres que se encuentran en contextos donde se consume alcohol, cuya información se obtuvo a través de la aplicación de una entrevista semiestructurada, cuyas respuestas indican que a pesar de que la violencia no debe ser justificada ninguna circunstancia, suele darse crítica e incluso recriminación hacia las mujeres víctimas de estos eventos, cuando por su vestuario, cercanía o consumo de alcohol, son responsables de propiciar este tipo de abusos.
